Wildfires. While not a new occurrence, they seem to be coming at a faster pace each summer as the Western States have higher temperatures and lower readiness. The devastation in human life, property and livestock from wildfires has created economic and emotional devastation across Oregon.

Join Public Safety Chaplaincy on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 7 pm for a “From the Front Lines – Firefighting” virtual forum where you will hear from Fire Fighters and Chaplains who will brief us on their latest experiences with wildfires. Hear stories of tragedy as well as hope as Assistant TVF&R Fire Chief and PSC board member, Mark Havener, interviews a number of individuals who have been personally involved with recent firefighting efforts.

We all need to think through not only how our own behavior affects the dry, tinder conditions but how we can help. Please register here to sign up for this webinar; we believe you will be encouraged.
